Today, we’re diving headfirst into one of the most chaotic and entertaining experiments I’ve ever done in the Land of Dawn: testing which heroes can actually take flight using the ALLSTAR Battlefield glider!
Think helicopter Balmond, bloodsucking mosquito Alice, and an invisible, flying Natalia—all before GTA 6 even drops! It’s crazy, it’s buggy, and it’s ridiculously fun. Big shoutout to Kunal Bro for reminding me about this mechanic—it almost slipped my mind.
So, which heroes soar and which ones crash and burn? Let’s break it down.
We started with Glue and his second skill. Sadly, it doesn’t launch him... but if you attach to a flying enemy? Boom—you’re skybound like a sticky backpack. After several weird setups, we got it working. It’s hilarious and low-key terrifying. Glue’s now hijacking enemy flights.
Next, we went full vampire. Alice activates her ultimate, glides into a team fight, and starts draining HP mid-air. She’s basically a demon mosquito. Visually amazing—maybe too amazing. This might actually be broken.
Martis looked sleek gliding while spinning his swords—like an orbital assassin.
Balmond? Literal helicopter mode. Cyclone Sweep mid-glide makes him the funniest air unit in Mobile Legends history. Completely ridiculous. We love it.
Hylos: His glowing ring follows him mid-air like a divine unicorn aura.
Natalia: Invisibility + glide = terrifying ghost ninja. Can’t see her at all.
Lesley: Can glide while concealed, but the invisibility doesn't last long enough to matter.
Khaleed: Surfs the air with his desert trail—smooth but purely visual.
Silvanna: Almost lifts off with her charge, but the animation cuts short.
Popol and Kupa: Popol glides; Kupa waits awkwardly at base.
Sun: Only the real Sun flies—his clones fall off the ride.
Kagura: Her umbrella doesn’t follow her glide. No surprises there.
Thamuz: No fiery trails, just a regular glide.
Lapu-Lapu: Functional but forgettable.
Yu Zhong: Dragon form? Nope. Completely grounded.
Johnson: The glider doesn’t even register his car form.
X.Borg: No fireworks—just overheating at the base.
Yve: Good call by devs—her ultimate while gliding would’ve broken ranked.
Hanzo: Shadow form is ignored by the glider entirely.
Karina: Underwater mode = no air mode. Zero interaction.
Atlas: Big bouncy boy denied flight. Sad.
Vale: Can’t channel real-world winds while gliding.
Chang’e: Cancels right before launch. Brutal.
Some heroes take to the skies gloriously. Others are hilariously broken. A few are just heartbreakingly grounded. But no matter what, testing the glider on every hero is a wild ride.
