This patch targets several key heroes, aiming to rebalance power and open up new strategies.
Roger: His mid to late-game damage has been toned down. While still strong early, don't expect the same terrifying burst in the later stages due to reduced physical attack growth.
Kimmy: The dominating marksman-mage faces several hits. Her base movement speed is reduced, making rotations and escapes trickier. Both her basic and enhanced attacks now scale less with her stats, and critically, her ultimate's slow is cut from 75% to 50%. This means enemies can escape her ultimate much more easily.
Lapu-Lapu: After becoming too tanky, his sustain is being curbed. The damage reduction per enemy hit from his Skill 2 in great sword stance has been reduced. You'll need to be more selective with your engages.
Uranus: This tanky brawler's damage output is being reined in. His Skill 1's extra damage, based on radiance stacks, has been slightly lowered.
Lancelot: Due to his recent surge in popularity on the Official Server, his Skill 2 now scales 10% less with physical attack. Expect a noticeable drop in his mid to late-game burst damage.
Joy: Her late-game damage without her ultimate was simply too high. Her Skill 2's magic scaling has been reduced, impacting her burst potential.
Granger: A smaller adjustment, but one that impacts his poke and kite potential. His Skill 1 now grants less bonus movement speed while shooting and scales slightly less with physical attack. You'll feel less agile during trades.
Bane: Big changes for the Pirate King! His ultimate no longer knocks enemies back, making follow-ups much easier. The slow and airborne effects on his ultimate are also improved, giving him better team fight control. Plus, his Skill 2's charged version now hits significantly harder, aiming to make him more impactful earlier in the game.
X.Borg: A massive passive upgrade! Previously, only his Skill 1 dealt true damage to overheated enemies. Now, ALL his skills deal true damage when he's overheated. This makes his combos incredibly deadlier if you manage his passive correctly, particularly boosting his ultimate's impact.
Beyond hero balancing, the patch also includes some quality-of-life updates:
Thamuz Model Update: The art and in-game model for Thamuz's default skin have been refreshed, offering a sharper and more detailed look. What do you think of the new design?
Clearer CC Duration: Crowd control effects (like stun or slow) are now easier to see with brighter text, making team fights much simpler to read and react to.
Tower Adjustment: A crucial change for game pacing! To prevent high-rank games from ending too quickly, inner towers now have increased HP (from 6200 to 6700). This means more time to defend, more opportunities for combat plays, and potentially longer, more strategic matches.
These changes are poised to shake up the current Mobile Legends meta. The nerfs to popular assassins and marksmen might open doors for other heroes, while the significant buffs to Bane and X.Borg could see them rise in priority. The increased inner tower HP will undoubtedly lead to longer game times and more emphasis on late-game team fights and objective control.
