Mobile Legends Advance Patch Update: Buffs, Nerfs, and Key Meta Shifts
30 May 2025 | anan

A new advanced patch has just landed in Mobile Legends, bringing a host of adjustments to heroes, emblems, and game mechanics. Whether you're climbing the ranks or prepping for the next season, here's a fast breakdown of the most important changes and what they mean for your gameplay.

Hero Adjustments

Kimmy (Nerf)

Kimmy's ultimate has been tweaked:

Cooldown increased and range slightly reduced, making timing and positioning more critical.

Explosion now lands more accurately on the first enemy hit.

Still effective, but requires smarter usage to catch enemies off guard.

Fanny (Energy Rework)

Energy costs reshuffled:

Skill 1 and Ultimate now consume less energy.

Skill 2 costs more energy than before.

These changes benefit high-skill players who plan combos, punishing those who spam recklessly.

Julian (Jungle Nerf)

Enhanced basic attacks now deal only 75% damage to jungle creeps.

Slower jungle clear could reduce his popularity in the jungle role.

Uranus (Buff)

Major improvements to damage output:

Basic attacks now deal bonus magic damage based on passive stacks, which also works on turrets.

Skill 1 no longer marks for extra damage but now:

Builds passive faster.

Deals extra damage based on stacks.

Allows easier stack accumulation without needing to take hits.

Lapu-Lapu (Team Fight Buff)

Shorter cooldowns for Skill 1 and Skill 2.

Skill 2 grants a flat 30% damage reduction on hitting any enemy, with more reduction per additional target.

Stronger and more reliable in brawls and skirmishes.

Minotaur (Scaling Buff)

Improved physical and magic defense growth.

Tougher to take down as the game progresses.

Jawhead (Jungle Nerf)

Passive no longer affects creeps.

Jungle clear speed is noticeably slower, making him less viable as a jungler.

Natan (Light Buff)

Skill 1 cooldown reduced at later levels.

Faster passive stacking and better crit potential in extended fights.

Bruno (Crit Buff)

Each stack now gives more crit chance.

Max stacks reduced from 10 to 7, allowing faster crit spike.

Skill 1 mana cost reduced.

Expect higher threat levels earlier in the match.

Aamon (Buff)

Passive now slows enemies more.

Skill 1 grants increased movement speed, making him stickier in fights and deadlier in chases.

X.Borg (Ultimate Nerf)

Ultimate base damage and scaling reduced.

Still strong, but you'll now need more than just the ult to secure kills.

Novaria (Utility Nerf)

Ultimate now reveals her location while casting.

Though the destination is hidden, enemies nearby can spot and prepare.

Less surprise, more counterplay opportunities.

Chip (Skill 4 Nerf)

1-second delay added to Skill 4.

Position is revealed for 1.5 seconds before activation.

Like Novaria, this change punishes sudden plays, demanding better timing.

Lilia (Cooldown Buff)

Gloom now restores 20% cooldown every time it hits an enemy hero—regardless of level.

Previously required max Gloom level for a 50% cooldown refresh.

Skills become more spammable, improving her harass and burst potential.

Emblem Changes

Killing Spree (Big Buff)

Faster cooldown and easier activation.

Expect more frequent healing and escapes during fights.

Weapons Master

Now grants more raw damage, making it a stronger pick for scaling.

Fatal Emblem

Crit damage reduced, slightly nerfing crit-focused builds.

Bush Vision Mechanics Update

A subtle but important change in how skills interact with vision:

Previously, skills like Selena’s arrow, Kimmy’s ultimate, and Vale’s tornado could reveal entire bushes even if no one was hit.

Now, only enemies actually hit by the skill will be revealed.

Only summon-based skills (like Yve's umbrella or Zask's spawn) still reveal the whole bush.

Affected Skills Include:

Selena’s Arrow

Kimmy’s Ultimate

Vale’s Tornado

Lui’s Second Skill

Yve’s Second Skill

Xavier’s Second Skill

Joy’s First Skill

Kadita’s Passive

This means random bush-checking is less reliable, improving safety for hiding enemies while rewarding accurate hits.

Final Thoughts

This patch balances power spikes, tightens jungle picks, and increases the skill ceiling for many heroes. Whether you're a bruiser, assassin, or support main, there's something here that will change how you approach the game. Adapt early, and you’ll stay ahead of the curve.

Stay sharp on the battlefield!
